This 1960 Topps baseball card features Duke Snider of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Identified as card number 493, the card utilizes the distinctive horizontal format characteristic of the 1960 Topps set. The front displays a large color-selective portrait of the player on the right side and a smaller, blue-tinted action photograph on the left. The player name is printed in bold, alternating black and red block lettering at the bottom, set against a yellow border that also indicates the team name and position. The reverse side is printed in orange-brown and black ink on grey cardstock and contains player biographical information, 1959 season and career batting records, and a Season’s Highlights section. The bottom right edge includes the copyright mark T.C.G. and the text PRTD. IN U.S.A. A small cartoon in the lower right highlights a career achievement.
