Description
This lot consists of a trio of vintage baseball trading cards from the early 1970s. The first item is a 1975 Kellogg’s 3-D Super Stars card number 47 featuring Albert Walter Sparky Lyle of the New York Yankees. This card utilizes a plastic lenticular construction to create a three-dimensional visual effect and includes a facsimile signature on the front. The reverse displays major league records and is marked with the 1975 Xograph copyright. The second item is a 1972 Rold Gold Baseball’s All-Time Greats promotional card featuring Jackie Robinson of the Brooklyn Dodgers. The front depicts Robinson in uniform against an orange border, while the reverse provides biographical information and career highlights including his 1962 Hall of Fame induction. The third item is a 1975 Kellogg’s 3-D Super Stars card number 16 featuring John Edward Johnny Briggs of the Milwaukee Brewers. Like the Lyle card, it features a 3-D lenticular design and facsimile signature, with the reverse detailing his professional statistics and the 1975 Xograph copyright. All three cards are housed in individual clear plastic soft sleeves.
