The 1969 design is characterized by the team name in large block letters at the bottom and a colored circle at the top containing the player name, position, and team role. The collection includes Joe Gibbon (San Francisco Giants, Pitcher, #158), Jerry Stephenson (Boston Red Sox, Pitcher, #172), Jackie Hernandez (Kansas City Royals, Shortstop, #258), Fred Lasher (Detroit Tigers, Pitcher, #373), Ken Boyer (Los Angeles Dodgers, 3B-1B, #379), and Tom McCraw (Chicago White Sox, 1B-OF, #388). Notable in the lot is the Ken Boyer card, representing an eleven-time All-Star and the 1964 National League MVP. The card backs feature biographical information, major and minor league statistics, and illustrative cartoons. All cards were printed in the USA by O.T.C.G.
