Description

This is an original 1980-81 Topps basketball trading card, widely recognized for its iconic three-panel perforated design. This specific example remains intact and unseparated. The left panel features Marques Johnson of the Milwaukee Bucks (Card #143, Bucks Scoring Leaders). The center panel contains the highly significant rookie card of Boston Celtics legend Larry Bird (Card #30, Celtics Scoring Leaders). The right panel features Jack Sikma of the Seattle SuperSonics (Card #232).

The obverse of the card displays individual player portraits within color-coded frames: pink for Johnson, blue for Bird, and blue for Sikma. “Scoring Leader” basketball graphic icons appear on the Johnson and Bird panels. The reverse side corresponds to each front panel with printed information. The left section lists all-time scoring leaders for the Milwaukee Bucks, the middle section lists all-time scoring leaders for the Boston Celtics, and the right section provides career statistics and a biographical blurb for Jack Sikma, including a small cartoon illustration. Copyright markings at the bottom of each segment attribute the card to 1980 Topps Chewing Gum, Inc. and 1969 N.B.P.A.
