Description
This is a 1968 Topps baseball card featuring Hall of Fame player Harmon Killebrew of the Minnesota Twins, card number 361. The card is part of the The Sporting News All-Star Selection subset. The front of the card utilizes the distinctive burlap-textured border design characteristic of the 1968 Topps set. It features a color photograph of Killebrew with his bat over his shoulder. Text on the front includes The Sporting News header, a large 68 graphic with All Star Selection text, and a black banner at the bottom identifying the player, his position as first base, and the American League. The reverse of the card is printed in black and white and contains the card number 361 and the copyright mark for T.C.G. (Topps Chewing Gum) Printed in U.S.A. The reverse shows a significant factory miscut, featuring a portion of a monochrome puzzle piece intended to form a larger image of Carl Yastrzemski and a vertical yellow factory strip along the right edge.
