Description
A 1966 Topps baseball card, number 221, titled 1965 ERA Leaders for the National League. The front of the card features color portrait photographs of three pitchers: Sandy Koufax of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Juan Marichal of the San Francisco Giants, and Vern Law of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Koufax and Marichal are members of the Baseball Hall of Fame. The top left corner contains a blue diagonal banner with the text N. LEAGUE in white. The top center features the heading 1965 ERA LEADERS in yellow block letters. The bottom of the card displays player names and their respective teams in black text on a white border. The reverse of the card is printed on orange and salmon-colored cardstock. It features a baseball graphic in the upper left containing the number 221 and the Topps brand name. The back lists statistical leaders for Earned Run Average (ERA) in the National League for the 1965 season, divided into categories for pitchers with at least 162 innings and those with more than 75 innings.
