Description
A vintage hand-pieced cotton quilt top featuring the popular ‘Double Wedding Ring’ pattern, likely dating to mid 20th century. The design comprises interlocking rings constructed from numerous small, varied patterned fabric scraps, including florals, plaids, and geometric prints. These rings are set against a solid white background, accented by green corner squares and a green scalloped border.

Condition report:
The quilt top shows significant signs of age and use consistent with its vintage nature. There are several areas of yellowish and brownish discoloration and staining on the white background fabric. Multiple small holes and tears are present in both the patterned and background patches. General fraying is visible along various patch edges.
