Description
A collection of five distinct pieces of handmade white textile, primarily crafted using crochet techniques. The assortment includes a large tablecloth or bedspread featuring an all-over openwork geometric pattern of squares with central floral motifs. Two smaller panels are also present; one is a square filet crochet piece depicting a figurative scene, and another is a longer, narrower piece with a simpler openwork grid. Additionally, two further panels are displayed; one characterized by a repeating floral lattice pattern with an irregular fringed edge, and another executed in filet crochet depicting a detailed figurative landscape with attachment loops along its perimeter. Condition report:
Overall fair condition, consistent with age and use. Varying degrees of discoloration, wear, and localized staining are present across the collection. The large tablecloth exhibits significant yellowing and staining. No discernible maker\'s marks.
